SINGAPORE 2023

-Singapore, probably one of the most cinematic and beautiful races of the season!

-We start off with Lance Stroll and his team choosing to step out of the race due to trauma to the car and probably trauma to Lance Stroll after his scary crash in qualifying.

-Zhou Guanyu startes from the pit lane due to changes made to his Alfa Romeo car.

-It's lights out! Carlos Sainz leads!

-Disaster for Yuki Tsunoda, he has retired and is out of the race.

-Yellow flag, Logan Sargeant is in the wall! He carrries on, dragging his front wing.

-The safety car is deployed!

-Most drivers come in to pit, but not the Redbulls! They find themselves now at P2 and P4.

-Fernando Alonso gains a 5 second penalty for his lock up in the pit lane.

-We race again! Everyone is on hards.

-George Russel and Lando Norris overtake Max Verstappen!

-Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc overtake Sergio Perez!

-What is happeneing to Redbull?!

-Carlos Sainz and George Russel are in a race of their own out at the front.

-Lewis Hamilton overtakes Max Verstappen into P4.

-Everyone is nose to tail racing! It's all so close! It's a DRS train!

-Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly pass Sergio Perez.

-Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen pit. They come out near the back.

-Esteban Ocon's engine stops! He's out of the race and a virtual safety car is called!

-Fernando Alonso has a terrible pit stop! They drop the car and it's 25 seconds long!

-We race again!

-The Mercedes are flying on their new tyres and find themselves P3 and P4.

-Valterri Bottas retires with a gearbox problem.

-Carlos Sainz managing this race beautifully.

-George Russell crashes into the wall whilst battling for P2 and is out of the race in the last lap! So unfortunate!

-Carlos Sainz wins the Singapore Grand Prix!
