QATAR 2023

-We start this night race without Carlos Sainz due to a fuel system issue on his car, the rookie Oscar Piastri winning his first sprint race and Max Verstappen winning his 3rd title

-It's light out and its a clean get away for Max Verstappen

-Immediately the Mercedes, P2 and P3, have crashed and Lewis Hamilton is out of the race!

-A safety car is deployed so the car can be recovered

-George Russel is down to P18 and Lewis Hamilton has come out as inciting the crash

-Niko Hulkenburg is given a 10 second penalty for starting in the wrong place

-Everyone has now pitted at least once and Oscar Piastri is flying up to P2

-Sergio Perez gains a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits

-Fernando Alonso is in the gravel at turn 2 as he loses the rear but he manages to carry on

-George Russel has made a massive recovery as he is now in P4

-The Williams retires due to Logan Sargeant not feeling well. This is a tough race. The heat is becoming unbearable

-Sergio Perez gets another 5 second penalty for the track limits again

-Max Verstappen laps his teammate Sergio Perez

-Alex Albon gets a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits

-The two Mclaren's are battling it out for P2 as Lando Norris is not happy about being told to keep his position

-Max Verstappen wins again and the Mclaren's get a double podium!
